Welcome to Penny Perez Design

I design learning for your brand

Learning designed to solve problems

From the classrooms of high schools to the dish pits of restaurants, I’ve had a wide variety of experience in designing learning to improve performance.

Can I cut through the noise and help you reach your learning goals? Yes, chef.

  • After years of teaching high school English, I transitioned to L&D in the corporate world. I haven’t left my secondary education roots behind though; I’m deeply connected to that world and would love to help with your next big learning experience or PD.

  • After teaching, I transitioned to learning & development design in the restaurant industry. I’ve created training materials and learning experiences for everything from Michelin-star full service restaurants to fast casual dining to brand new restaurant concepts.

  • Your business does so many things well, but you may inevitably run into a problem that you think a training may solve. I can help you decide what would work best for you and your team, even if it’s not actually “training”.

My Services

Business Strategy/ Proposal

Need a fresh set of eyes for your learning & development project? Want to explore what your company training should look like with a needs analysis? This is the right option for you.

Design

Looking for a from-the-ground-up, engaging learning experience to produce results? Have an existing training that needs some updates? Updated brand guides requiring a design refresh on all of your training materials? That’s me.

Development

Need a more hands-on approach? Do people need to see the magic you create with your brand to really understand? Do you already have an awesome team in place, but just need a designer to bring the content together? This option can include on-site visits to meet one-on-one with you and your stakeholders.
